I smiled at her futile attempt of making me let go. It was pretty funny, actually. But I had already freed her, and she was already heading away, to the side of the pool. I looked at her quizzical before swimming over beside her. "What are you doing?" I asked, holding myself in place with a hand on the edge. "I thought you were a risk taker? Are your tats lying to me?" I asked, glaring playfully at her. "Afraid of the deep water?" I guessed, laughing at how stupid of an excuse. I pulled myself towards the ladder and hoisted myself up, letting myself drip off before heading to the diving board. "Any suggestions?" I asked.

"Im getting out of the water, Mr. Obvious." I reply, chuckling as I looked downa t him. I roll my eyes, shaking my head. "I wasnt ready." I complain, patting his head playfully as he climbed up. I scoff as Jude asks if Im afraid of deep water and I lean over to scoop some water with my hand before chucking it at him, a mischevious grin on my face. I watch as he walks over to the diving board and I cant help but call: "Wooo! Take it off!" I giggle madly as my face turns red and bury my cherry cheeks in my hands, body racking with luahgter as a tear rolled from my eye. "Just kidding, please, no! For the children!" I add, covering my eyes with my hand and holding the other out as if I thought Jude was actually about to strip.

I shook my fist at her, acting like I was mad. Oh, was she good. I smiled and waved at her from the ladder of the board, wondering if I should show off, like it was meant for. I shrugged and moved my hands to my shorts, flashing her a grin before shaking my head. "That's for later, babe!" I said, winking at her. I took a breath and ran down the board, then jumped on the edge, then off. A few twists here, a flip there, and I was done. I dove into the water with perfect ease, causing only a small splash, aimed directly for Mari. I grinned and laughed as I swam towards her.

I laugh as he shakes his fist at me before mounting the diving board, his hands going to his shorts jokingly. A blush unconsciously creeps up my face as Jude winks at me, saying 'that is for later'. I mentally roll my eyes. Guys never had much of an effect on me, so why did Jude suddenly make me go all giggly and girly and shit? I huff softly before twisting away as the splash hits me, soaking me once more. "I was just starting to dry!" I whine, kicking my foot at him in hopes of splashing him back. Not that it would matter much, with how he was already sort of submerged in water and sopping wet. I stick out my tongue at Jude playfully as he swims over, chuckling softly. "When's later?" I ask with a wink, barely managing to keep a straight face.

"Oh." I said, grinning. "Impatient, are we?" I pushed myself up onto the edge, grunting as I did so. "Oh, so much work." I looked to her and shrugged. "We can go get something to eat, then we can go back to my place..." I said, leaning closer to her. Oh, how she smelled nice. I got a pang of hunger and winced as I straightened up, clearing my throat. "What are you doing later?" I asked, scooting closer to her. "And I hope there's no guy friend to beat me up in the future..." I said, laughing.

"Yeah, totally." I reply, rolling my clear blue eyes. I chuckle as Jude pulls himself up beside me, his shoulders lifting in a shrug. I raise my eyebrows in surprise. Was he being serious? No, he couldnt be. We'd just met, and Jude didnt really seem to be that type of guy, though perhaps he was. "Lunch sounds good." I agree after a moment, nodding. My face reddens as he scoots closer, asking as to what my schedule was later. "Nothing at all. I was going to take a nap." I say casually, shrugging as if it didnt matter. "Theres not, no need to worry." I add, sticking out my tongue at him. I look at him for a minute before averting my gaze elsewhere. Why was I choosing this minute to go all shy? "Now, lunch?" I ask hopefully, looking back over at Jude.

I nodded, pulling myself to a standing position before reaching out with a hand to help her up. I headed to her stuff, waiting by it for her since I didn't bring any of my own. "Your place first? I could drop you off then pick you up." I said, smiling at her. Lunch sounded amazing, although the lunch that I needed was different than the one she was thinking of. It was cute, how she was shy around me. And I liked how when I would glance at her afterwards, it looked like she was arguing with herself. "What do you feel like?" I asked.

I take his proffered hand and leap easily to my feet, chuckling slightly. I follow after Jude and begin picking up my things, toweling my blonde hair for a moment before balling it up and stuffing it into my tote bag. "Why drop me off then come back? Cant ya just come with me, I put my stuff up, then we head off on our fabulous adventure?" I ask, arching an eyebrow at him. I bite my lower lip, rubbing a hand over my chin as if stroking an invisible beard thoughtfully. "Chinese." I say finally, nodding happily at myself. "Now, come." I say, taking Jude's hand in mine before starting towards the pool gate, ignoring the glares of the lifeguard as we passed him.

I smiled as she took over after drying off her hair. I grinned her as she stroked her invisible beard. She was a lot more manly than I originally thought. It didn't really take her a long time to choose the food that she wanted. It's a good thing that I knew an amazing Chinese restaurant. I followed her out of the gate, eyeing the lifeguard as he glared at us. "Well, I need to go change. I'm not going out soaking wet." I protested, giving an irritated sigh just to show her. "How far away is your ?" I asked, now remembering that I hadn't brought any shoes with me this morning.

I start down the paved path that led down to the road, which then would take us to my house. I plant my hands on my hips, a huff coming out from between my lips. "Only about a seven minute walk." I reply, pointing to the right in the way my house laid. "I need to change, too, but you'll dry faster than me." I say, sticking out my tongue at him. "We can stay on the road, I avoided it on the way over." I add, shrugging my narrow shoulders. I hadnt wanted some concerned adult pulling over to ask me where I was going, why I wasnt at school. I didnt think they would take ym excuses as easily as Jude had.

I followed her since I had absolutely no idea where I was headed. I grimaced, making sure that she didn't see it. Seven minutes wasn't really that long, but with no shoes and wet clothes, it got tiring after a while. "I may dry faster, but I will have no shoes and a stiff shirt with shorts on as I walk into a restaurant. That's no way to make an appearance with a girl like you." I said, giving her a smile. Mari was nice and sweet, I liked her. I made an approving sound, not really caring how we got there. It was almost lunch, so the day was almost over, which, in turn, made us almost safe. But we had to watch out the closer we got into town.

I roll my eyes, shaking my head determinedly. "No excuses, Mr. Rogers." I say, pointing at him before poking him roughly with my index finger on his shoulder. "And flattery will get you nowhere." I add, sticking out my tongue at Jude teasingly. It really didnt earn him any brownie points, but it did make me feel a bit better, somehow. I didnt need compliments- it wasnt like I lived fore them- but they were nice once in a while, especially coming from a hot guy like him. My hand brushes against his as we walk and I glance away, down at my feet, hoping he wouldnt notice it or think I did it on purpose. I didnt want him to think I was easy, or too-too interested in him.

I sighed and shook my head. The joke was soon going to get old, and when it does, I'd get her back for using it in the first place. Why did she want me to stay uncomfortable? I grinned and pushed he back, acting insulted. "How can that be?" I asked, awestruck. "Flattery can get anyone anywhere, if you do it right and to the right people." I said, grinning. "This is what we're going to do, since you won't let me change while you're at your house. Well just wait then stop by mine." I said, shrugging. "I'm not going in there like this." I said sullenly.

I mock gasp as Jude pushes me back and slap his hand away, crossing my arms over my chest in a pout and turning away moodily. "Oh, shut up." I grumble as he says that falttery can work on the right people. Obviously it wasnt going to work on me, right? At least not on some deep, subconscious level that would just make me jump all over him. Heh, it'd be pretty fun to tackle him, though. I nod in agreement as he goes on about how he wasnt going to take my out like he was. "Well, I think I'd cause a scene if I went into a public place dressed like this." I say, gesturing to my bikini.

I smiled as I let my eyes roam over her body, not even trying to be discreet about it. I could tell that Mari here would want more than just flattery coming from a guy who was trying to get her to like them. At least I knew how to work with her now. I was glad she was starting to understand that I wasn't going to be seen anywhere except at my house and at the pool dressed like this. "Yeah, I'd probably have to fight off tons of guys. They wouldn't believe that some pale 'nerd' could get a 'hottie' like you." I said, rolling my eyes as I put emphasis on nerd and hottie. Teenage guys were so predictable, especially when it came to girls.
